Net 30 Terms and Due Date Calculator
Net 30 means the full amount of an invoice is due 30 calendar days after the invoice date. Enter the invoice date to get the due date.
Net terms count calendar days. Weekends and holidays are counted, not skipped.
What net 30 means
"Net" is the full invoice amount, after any discounts already applied. "30" is the number of days the buyer has to pay it. On an invoice dated Thursday, January 15, 2026, net 30 makes payment due on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Net terms count calendar days, including weekends and holidays. They are not business days. Most invoices count from the invoice date; some contracts count from the date the goods or invoice are received, so check the terms.
When the due date falls on a weekend or holiday
There is no single rule. Many businesses accept payment on the next business day, and some expect it on the business day before. Payments by bank transfer cannot settle on a weekend or federal holiday, so pay early if the money must arrive by the due date. Your contract or the seller's invoice terms decide; the calculator above shows the business days on either side.
Due dates for common net terms
For an invoice dated Sunday, March 15, 2026. A badge marks a due date that falls on a weekend or federal holiday.

| Net 7 | Sunday, March 22, 2026 Sunday |
| Net 10 | Wednesday, March 25, 2026 |
| Net 15 | Monday, March 30, 2026 |
| Net 30 | Tuesday, April 14, 2026 |
| Net 45 | Wednesday, April 29, 2026 |
| Net 60 | Thursday, May 14, 2026 |

2/10 net 30
"2/10 net 30" offers a 2% discount if the buyer pays within 10 days, and otherwise the full amount is due in 30 days. On a $5,000 invoice, paying by day 10 costs $4,900.
Skipping the discount means paying $100 more to keep $4,900 for 20 extra days. That works out to about 37% a year (2/98 × 365/20), so taking the discount is usually worth it if the cash is available.
Net 30 EOM
EOM means "end of month". With net 30 EOM, the 30 days start at the end of the month the invoice is dated, not on the invoice date itself. An invoice dated Thursday, January 15, 2026 is then due 30 days after Saturday, January 31, 2026: on Monday, March 2, 2026. Turn on the EOM switch in the calculator to use it.
